All:  This is not a correction but a tip, but I built a Tamiya F-4J using the VMFA-333 markings and when I applied that shamrock tail stripe it was not as opaque as I would have preferred.  This is one of those situations where the there is painted white immediately next to a white decal and the difference betweent he two is noticeable!  So what I did was I removed the decal (having a few extra rejected sheets around comes in handy) and then went and photocopied the decal sheet and used that to cut out a template for the tail stripe.  Then I went back and sprayed white underneath it and when I put on the new decal it came out great.
