Depending on when you bought your set, this error may or may not be in the instructions. The instructions for Silverkite 207 say to disregard the kill star marking on the right intake splitter plate. This is in fact wrong and the aircraft should have it. We were right the first time!
In doing additional research for 48-009 I learned the names on Silverkite 211. On the front canopy it was, LT MIKE BOLIER and on the rear it was LTJG OKIE STANSEL.
We learned after this set was released that Bandwagon 106 was carrying empty TERs on the outboard pylons during its MiG engagement. Also, thanks to the efforts by our friends at the National Air and Space Museum, we learned the names on the front canopy rails was CAPT. RON WILLIAMS and on the rear canopy rails was LT. GARY SULLIVAN.
