48-017 Air Guard Vipers at War 


Although the end of the Cold War in 1991 brought about major reductions in the size of the US Air Force, its worldwide commitments have increased dramatically.  The task of filling this gap has fallen largely on the reserve component, the largest element of which is the US Air National Guard.  This decal sheet provides markings for eight F-16C/D Fighting Falcons flown by units of the Indiana, Michigan, South Dakota, and Colorado Air Guard during Operations Northern Watch and Iraqi Freedom.  It also features special toned decals for the colorful nose art carried by these Fighting Falcons.
